THE BIG DUCK
Route 24
Restored to its original 1930s condition, this designated Historic Site
is a true East End landmark, currently owned by Suffolk County and under
the supervision of the Division of Historic Services. It is a living
museum which, with the help of Friends for Long Island's Heritage,
offers an extensive line of duckabilia, saving many miles of travel for
those visitors and/or local residents desperately in need of such. Big
Duck is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and on weekends in
April and May and September through December.
